Perfect Five Stand
The sport of Five Stand has now become the most popular side event at any sporting clays tournament. Although the traps and targets used are the same as used in sporting, the games are defiantly different and require different strategies.
Bobby Fowler, two-time National Sporting Clays Champion and National Five Stand Champion takes an in-depth look at how the game is played and tips that will help us shoot the game better. Bobby suggest using a mental chalkboard to visualize the path of each target, which will make choosing which target to take first on each station much easier. The use of Sunrise Production's EYE-Cam® allows the viewer to see the hold point, how the gun moves with each target and how the lead is established. The information Bobby gives in this presentation will definitely be of help to anyone shooting Five Stand.

Peter Blakeley’s Unit Lead System for Sporting Clays
The game of sporting clays was originally designed to hone our skills in preparation for bird hunting situations. However, over the years, it has progressed far beyond that. Today’s sporting clay courses include an increasingly diverse complexity of target presentations. As a result, the correct lead we need to successfully intercept each target can be a head-scratching dilemma for many of us.
In the history of shotgunning, no-one has ever been able to come up with a logical way to simplify the process of visually calculating and then implementing specific lead requirements, until now. In this DVD, top shooting coach Peter Blakeley describes his unique and innovative “unit lead system.” It is a logical and intuitive break down of the components of line, angle and range. By using this system, you will quickly learn how to apply a specific lead to each target and put more X’s on your score card.

Peter Blakeley's Read the Line Feel the Lead
Successful shotgunning is a skill that must be learned like any other skill.
It requires systematic study and the ability to accurately evaluate the
variables of moving targets. Few of us are born with the natural ability to
accurately calculate the amount of forward allowance needed to hit Sporting Clay targets consistently; the infinite combinations of variables are too complex. We may have the mechanical skills, but if we don't get a good "read" on the line of the target, the wheels come off.
Peter Blakeley, shooting coach at the Dallas Gun Club probably gives more
shooting lessons than any other shooting coach in the country. Over the
years he has perfected a method of teaching students how to understand the five things we must consider when shooting a moving target. These are; speed, distance, angle, trajectory and where we intend to shoot the target on trajectory. This is what this video is about, a logical and intuitive way to evaluate each of these five things and apply it to each target. Of course, eventually you need to trust this accumulation of knowledge, and more importantly, Pull the trigger when the picture looks right to you. In other words, read the line, feel the lead.

DAN CARLISLE'S Complete System for Successful Shooting
Remember the feeling you get when you perfectly execute a shot? When, seemingly without conscious effort, everything happens just right all by itself?
Dan Carlisle, one of America's top sporting shooters and instructors
and a guy who has devoted years to understanding the mechanics and science of
shooting, acknowledges that special feeling as the shooter's ultimate reward.
He calls it "the magic in the moment." Dan has experienced a lot of magic
moments in his career, from his world-records and Olympic medal to the many
competition wins in trap, skeet, sporting clays and FITASC. The long journey
and countless thousands of targets he's shot, have done more than bring him a
closet full of awards. They've crystallized his instructional process to the
point where he can teach just about any shooter to better himself. In fact
Dan was voted the shooting instructor of the year in 1999.
Dan teaches more a practical system than theoretical methodology. It
blends basic geometry with speed to give the shooter a "formula" for breaking
targets. In this video, Dan will help you develop a complete system for
successful shooting and you too will enjoy more "magic moments."
